Daddy and mommy tell me that 'blogging' is the new craze on the Net. So, since I'm the new craze in the family I decided to start my own blog. What is a blog? Basically it's just somebody's daily ramblings. I have to sleep, eat and poop a lot...so, I might not have time to do this everyday. But I'll do my best to keep it up-to-date. Oh, and if there are spelling mistakes or grammar errors, please remember that I'm only a kid!!

Well, when I got home from Day Care Daddy sat me down and gave me the news. He said "Evan, remember what I was telling you about Manny maybe playing on another team, well, it happened today...Manny is no longer with the Red Sox". My eyes welled up, my lip quivered, and I said..."no more Manny?". Daddy assured me that Manny was okay, but now he will be wearing Dodger blue. Sort of like when Nomar left the Sox the year I was born and Daddy just bought me an infant Garciaparra shirt. Daddy says this is the reason he's always liked music more that sports. Sports let's you down, music never does. Well, sometimes it's sad...like when we lost Phantom Dan, but even still...he'll always be an E Streeter! So, so long Manny. I've got some great pics of you from Fenway...I'll look back on the 2 World Series victories that I've seen in my 4 short years here on this big blue marble and always remember Manram. Manny being Manny!!

To swing the emotion a bit...this month Daddy and Uncle Mike Minervini held another concert at Yanks. It was with Joe D'Urso and his band the Stone Caravan. I like his music now...it's great. I even have a DVD. The coolest part is that he came over to my house for dinner and he even played with me downstairs. What a great guy and the same for the rest of the band. Really cool guys. That night Mommy brought me to soundcheck and he played my favorite song "Powderfinger" and then he played "The River". Wow....that was cool. Dad said it was one of the best shows he's seen in quite some time!!

Well...gotta run. Too bad about Manny...at least we still have Big Papi. But it won't be the same. Have fun in LA Manram.
